Scripture
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Observation
God promises that He will guide us IF we let Him. This means considering God and asking Him about His perspective as we go about the task of living. When we get God’s perspective, we start to do things God’s way, He offers His guidance and power to help us, and we get God’s results.
Application
Stop and talk to God before making decisions. Develop the discipline of consideration. God is calling us to be considerate disciples, not inconsiderate “Christians.” If you trust God enough to consider Him in all you do, get ready to watch the miraculous explode in your life. Do it, then share your testimony with me.
Prayer
Lord, I love You. Thank You for today. I ask forgiveness for my pride, stubbornness, and self-direction. I choose to acknowledge You in all I do. Holy Spirit, help me to remember when I forget and to develop this discipline so that I way follow You and live a life that please You. Amen
