SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 28:20 …I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
OBSERVATION:
Fear is one of the biggest reasons of why people do not step out and start out on the adventure that is obeying the Lord’s call and going where He sends. It’s the fear of the unknown, the fear of failure, or the fear of loss (time, money, reputation, etc.).
Jesus is with us. We are not alone. We can either sit on the couch while He is at the door bidding us come or we can strap our pack to our back, grab our walking stick, and trust Him for the perils and glories that await us outside the front doors of our comfort zones.
What is holding you back? If it’s rebellion, apathy, or comfort, then you may never embark on your God-crafted adventure. The only cure it honest, gut-level repentance. If you’re “not feeling it”, get on your face until you are burn with the burden of heaven to save lost souls. We don’t have to be afraid, regardless of the outcome, because Jesus is with us. He is within us by His Spirit, He has given us His word, mentors, and so much more. Even if we become isolated, we are never alone because He is with us… always… to the very end.
Psalm 23:4 though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me
APPLICATION:
1. Get on your face and cry out for your heart to be broken for the burdens of God’s heart.
2. When you hear Him bid you come, go!
3. Trust Him for provision, protection, revelation, and power. He will do it in and through you, but you must make the decision to get your feet moving. We are to be the hands and feet of Christ.
PRAYER:
Jesus, I love You. Thank You for today. I thank You that You are always with me. Help me to burn with Your passion. I need to hear Your voice. Help me to go where You send me. I ask forgiveness for any time I have ignored Your voice or refused Your call. Send me, Lord. Here am I!
