Scripture
Psalm 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Observation
Today is not owed to us. We are not entitled to it. God created it so we could experience Him within time and space. Every day brings new mercies (Lamentations 3:22-23) and opportunities for grace.
Application
Whether we face challenges or blessings, let us meet today and every day with gratitude and thankfulness.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for today. I choose to walk in Your joy. No matter what today brings, I want to thank You for giving me what I need to do what You call me to do. This is a day that You made for me. Help me to face it all (the good, bad, and ugly) with You. Amen
