Under the Weight (Day 3 – January 21, 2026), P. Adina Kring

Scripture:

Leviticus 9:23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

.

Observation:

When the glory of the Lord appeared, it didn’t drift in quietly. Scripture records that it appeared visible, undeniable, heavy with presence. The Hebrew word kabod reminds us that glory is not a concept; it is substance. God’s glory in the tabernacle wasn’t decoration. It was confirmation. It signaled approval, holiness, and nearness. When glory appeared, everything else paused. No one questioned whether God was present. His glory made it clear. Glory still carries that same weight today. When God shows up, it is never casual. His presence demands reverence, attention, and response.

.

Application:

We often want the manifestation of glory without the preparation for it. But weight requires strength. God prepares vessels before He fills them.

If you’ve been in a season of stretching, pruning, or waiting, it may be because God is increasing your capacity. Glory cannot rest on what refuses to be formed. The weight of God’s presence reveals whether we are willing to slow down, submit, and honor Him fully.

Instead of asking God to show up, we should ask ourselves if we’re ready to host Him.

.

Prayer:

Father, prepare me to carry Your glory. Strengthen my heart, refine my motives, and align my life with Your holiness. I don’t want a shallow encounter I want Your presence to dwell with me. Teach me how to honor the weight of Your glory. In Jesus name. Amen.
