Main Point: No matter what kind of mom you have had or have been, we all can come to the King and get wisdom that will save our lives, and the lives of our children.
Main Text: 1 Kings 3:16-28
Kings 3:16 Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him.

God has a history of using people that others disqualify.
Isaiah 64:6 We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.
1) Don’t Lay on Your Children
1 Kings 3:19 During the night this woman’s son died because she lay on him.
God is the only perfect parent, the rest of us are merely trying to survive.
Psalm 127:3 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.
2) She Fell Asleep
1 Kings 3:20 So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep.
Weary: Feeling or showing tiredness, especially as a result of excessive exertion or lack of sleep.
Hebrews 10:25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

3) While She Was Sleeping, Her Child Was Stolen from Her.
The enemy will wait for an opportunity to steal what God has given you.
